As Ethiopians ourselves, we know coffee like no one else. Our journey begins in the highlands of Ethiopia, at 1,700–2,200 meters, where coffee was born. We personally source our organic Limu beans from trusted farms, tracing every bean through a supply chain we’ve known intimately —something many UK roasters simply can’t claim. This deep connection ensures unparalleled authenticity, quality, and trust in every batch. Roasted with precision in our state-of-the-art roastery, each bean is meticulously cupped and perfected by our family, delivering the richest, boldest Ethiopian flavours—think chocolatey depth, warm spice undertones, and a velvety finish that lingers with every sip. At Bunna Corner, We proudly dedicate 10% of our profits to supporting displaced refugees, a cause that resonates deeply with us as lifelong members of the Ethiopian community in Leeds. Every three months, we travel to refugee camps, like Calès, bringing essential food, clothes, and spiritual and emotional support to those who have left their homes in search of a better life, only to face the challenges of homelessness and uncertainty. Having been an integral part of the Ethiopian community, we understand the struggles refugees endure—the deep yearning for a brighter future while navigating the complexities of a new home. We’ve witnessed their resilience, hope, and heartache, and it’s ignited a fire in us to be a source of light and love. Through our visits, we offer more than material support; we provide a listening ear, prayers, and encouragement, helping to restore dignity and hope. As Bunna Corner grows, we’re committed to expanding this mission, reaching more displaced refugees with the warmth of our care.
